WHAT IS THE CHARLES RILEY TUTORIAL PROGRAM?
The Charles Riley Tutorial Program is designed for the family who wants their loved ones to be successful academically and socially. The tutorial program is a family program. It is not a program for an individual. The Charles Riley Tutorial Program utilizes Doology to make sure that our loved ones do well in school and in life.
Vegetables grow best in good soil, an attentive farmer or gardener, the right amount of rain and at the right season. This is known as the environment.
The Charles Riley Tutorial Program provides the environment by insisting that the family creates the atmosphere necessary for the loved ones to be successful. First Community Interfaith Institute Inc. does what it should and the family does what it should. Teaching and learning are not an individualized thing. Unique? Yes, but effective and successful.
Because of our standards, some unfortunate individuals cannot be in our Charles Riley Tutorial Program. However, on Fridays we take any person who expresses an interest in learning. So individuals who come on Fridays will develop academically and socially in our Charles Riley Tutorial Program, so that they will be able, with time, to enter our Charles Riley Tutorial Program. On Fridays First Community Interfaith Institute Inc. points individuals to the concepts that the Charles Riley Tutorial Program is about the First Community Interfaith Institute Inc. providing the environment and the family providing the atmosphere.
Anyone can come on Fridays but only those who understand that teaching and learning are about family unity can be in the Charles Riley Tutorial Program. First Community Interfaith Institute Inc. wants to help all students, but the organization realizes that this may not be possible.
You can sign up for our tutorial program this Sunday at 4 pm, 219 Hamilton Street. First Community Interfaith Institute Inc. has many services available. Our main task is to help with not only the spiritual needs, but also with the educational needs of our community.
